It’s an important question to ask: When teenagers go on a mission trip, who is it about?
Is it about teenagers leaving their home to serve and grow elsewhere?
Is it about a community full of stories of strength and struggle?
Mission trips can pull teenagers out of their comfort zones to engage in God’s story in the world. But why go if we don’t listen carefully, understand more deeply, serve humbly and build relationships?
So we asked our friends online, “Who are mission trips about?”
81% said mission trips are about teenagers and communities – and we couldn’t agree more!
Every day we wonder how we can bring together the unique storylines of people and places to see how God will open eyes, capture hearts and bring about something beautiful. We love teenagers and we deeply care about communities!
