How can leaders maximize their influence, time and energy in serving in student ministry or alongside student ministers? The reality is student ministry cannot be done alone, no matter how awesome your student minister is.  More so, if not prepared well, leaders and other adults serving at student ministry events can be more of a hindrance than a help if not adequately prepared. The best way to prepare a leader for any event is to ask them to be a Timothy at that event.
