At the NATIONAL YOUTH WORKERS CONVENTION, we stopped youth workers from all across the U.S. and asked them to share a 10-second youth ministry tip.
THE 10-SECOND TIP:
Make sure your game meets this one criteria: If it’s funny for you to watch, it’s a good game.
MY ADDED THOUGHTS:
The best games for youth ministry are both fun to play and entertaining to watch. If a game is a blast to watch, then the shy student who doesn’t want to play or the kid who is always the first one eliminated can still take part in the fun.
Here are a few examples of games that are hilarious to watch:
- Backwards Charades »» WATCH
- Tug Oh Face »» WATCH
- iPod Idol »» WATCH *Be sure to only take volunteers for this one and don’t force anyone to play who doesn’t want to get in front of the group.
